El Camino was created as a version of Tomas Coles’ painting Expulsion. Moon and Firelight (ca. 1828) for the IV Edition of VersionaThyssen by Museo Thyssen in Madrid. Whereas Thomas Coles’ painting represents the painters worries over the consequences of the industrialization, my painting expresses the concern over the consequences of the increase of temperatures on a global level. The painting shows a path on a natural bridge of ice in danger of disappearing through out of season melting.
